Campaign Committee
The Campaign Committee is dedicated to recruiting, training, and assisting Republican candidates at the local, county, and district levels. We collaborate with campaigns, mobilize and equip volunteers, and engage in activities like working the polls, canvassing neighborhoods, and reaching out to voters. Education Committee
The Education Committee engages with Washtenaw County residents to raise awareness about critical education-related topics, focusing on the actions of school boards and broader education policies. We seek out and support candidates for school board roles while advocating for educational freedom for everyone.
Events Committee
The Events Committee is responsible for designing, coordinating, and executing a diverse array of gatherings, such as movie nights, social mixers, candidate Meet and Greets, lectures, panel discussions, picnics, and formal occasions like Lincoln Day and Reagan Day dinners. These events serve as a bridge between the Washtenaw County Republican Party (WCGOP) and the broader community, fostering connections and strengthening party cohesion. Additionally, they play a vital role in fundraising, generating some of the financial resources essential for candidates to succeed in local, county, and district elections.
Finance Committee
The Finance Committee is tasked with safeguarding the financial health and sustainability of the Washtenaw County Republican Party (WCGOP). To ensure the success of campaigns, voter engagement initiatives, the advancement of conservative values, and other essential party functions, we actively pursue and broaden our financial resources. Collaborating as a team, we engage with Republican voters to build a robust network of donors. Through continuous fundraising, the WCGOP is empowered to back candidates and ballot measures that uphold our commitment to political and economic liberty.
Precinct Delegate Development Committee
The Precinct Delegate Development Committee is dedicated to expanding the Washtenaw County Republican Party (WCGOP) by recruiting, training, and empowering Precinct Delegates. We engage with potential Delegates through events, provide information, and follow up with those eager to serve. Our committee organizes tailored training to equip Delegates with the skills needed to represent their precincts effectively. Working closely with other WCGOP committees, we foster a unified team, encouraging Delegates to actively participate in GOP activities and strengthen the party’s foundation for electoral success.

Community Outreach Committee
The Community Outreach Committee grows the Washtenaw County Republican Party (WCGOP) by engaging residents and building trust through shared community values. We promote conservative principles at local events and invite participation in meetings, events, and campaigns. Through partnerships with food banks, first responders, and other community efforts like Habitat for Humanity, we show steadfast Republican commitment to our neighbors. Collaborating with other WCGOP committees, we foster a welcoming community to boost our party’s impact.

Public Relations Committee
The Public Relations Committee is tasked with building, preserving, and safeguarding the reputation of the Washtenaw County Republican Party (WCGOP) across its assets, such as the website, logo, social media platforms, and communications with voters, Precinct Delegates, state party members, and beyond. We also serve as the primary point of contact for media interactions. Working closely with WCGOP leadership and committee chairs—especially the Technology Committee—we align our efforts with the Republican Party’s mission to advance pro-freedom candidates and policies while challenging globalist and leftist priorities.
Technology Committee
The Technology Committee delivers innovative technical solutions to strengthen the Washtenaw County Republican Party’s operations, communication channels, and outreach initiatives across local, county, and district levels. We diligently explore available tools and offer informed recommendations to leadership, prioritizing support for pro-freedom, anti-cancel culture organizations and businesses. As needed, we tackle short-term projects to generate data insights and create digital resources.
Young Republicans Committee
The Young Republicans Committee engages high school and college students across Washtenaw County, recruiting and inspiring them to understand political issues and take an active role. We build community and encourage political involvement by linking up existing young Republican groups in the county and championing conservative values. Our mission is to grow and solidify the Republican Party’s voter base for today and tomorrow. Beyond boosting the ranks of young Republican voters, we empower and train them to work polls, assist candidates, support party outreach, and drive voter turnout.
