The 36th Biennial Mackinac Republican Leadership Conference will be held September 19 - 21, 2025 at the historic Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island. Opened in 1887, the Grand Hotel is the premier destination located on this Michigan tourism jewel which was named  "Best Island in the Continental U.S." by Travel & Leisure. 


The Mackinac Republican Leadership Conference has secured a special discounted rate for all conference attendees who wish to stay onsite during our 2025 conference to experience all the resort has to offer. An exclusive hotel reservation link will be sent by email to registered attendees.


Registration fee includes admission to conference and does not include hotel accommodations or meals.


*Students: Upon credential pick-up at the conference, students must present their current issued college identification card.

July 4th Parade, Whitmore Lake

The Kiwanis Club of Whitmore Lake is, once again, sponsoring the Fourth of July Parade. This is their 65th year! This year the theme is "Let Freedom Ring". The parade begins at 10:00 AM at the Whitmore Lake Elementary School, at 1077 Barker Road and proceeds down Main Street ending at the Northfield Township Building at 8350 Main Street.

A special meeting of the board will be held at 9 a.m. on June 27 in Room 1100 of the Binsfeld Office Building, 201 Townsend St., in Lansing.An agenda and meeting materials will be available prior to the meeting on the board's website.

Attending and speaking at a Board of State Canvassers meeting

The order of the agenda is up to the discretion of the board. Individuals are also encouraged to submit their comments in writing to the Board at MDOS-Canvassers@Michigan.gov. The agenda will be posted at least four business days before the board meeting to its website and comments must be submitted no later than 48 hours before the scheduled meeting, or the board cannot consider them.

Persons with disabilities needing accommodations for effective participation in this meeting should email MDOS-Canvassers@Michigan.gov or call the Bureau of Elections at 800-292-5973 at least 24 hours prior to the start of the meeting.

The meeting will be streamed live on Michigan Senate TV and will also be available following the meeting on the Michigan Department of State's YouTube channel.
