We are most fortunate to secure a spot to walk in Saline’s Memorial Day Parade, sponsored by its American Legion Chapter, to be held Monday, May 27, 2024.

The parade will begin at 10AM at North Davenport Street and East Michigan Avenue (US-12) and the Michigan Avenue route will conclude at Oakwood Cemetery. 

There is significant road construction in Saline, which changes the starting point of the parade from the Fire Station to the parking lot behind Harry’s Auto Service and the Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home. Moreover, there will be many road closures and detours related to the parade. Please be early to find parking on a side street or nearby lot.

We will be in spot #20, which will be near the New Horizons Band. Expect traditional patriotic music throughout! Spots will be marked in the meet-up area.

One of Saline’s most notable family owned and operated businesses, Borer Chiropractic at 210 West Michigan, is located near the end of the parade route, across from Oakwood Cemetery. The Borer family has offered our group their parking spots in their back lot (please arrive by 9am to get to the meet up spot by 9:30 and avoid road closures) as well as light refreshments at the end of the parade.
