Candidate for Michigan State Univ. Board of Trustees

Julie Maday is a common sense leader and a Spartan Mom. She is a former Novi City Councilwoman, Novi Planning Commission member, and currently a member of the Novi Economic Development Committee. As the parent of two Spartans—one recent graduate and one current student—Julie understands the plight of MSU students and families.

Julie has invested in MSU for most of her adult life and has a passion to see it restore its damaged reputation. Julie is committed to appropriate oversight and helping restore MSU to the highly respected educational institution it was just a decade ago. Julie believes in the Constitution and the First Amendment rights for all students on campus. She is a passionate fighter for diversity of thought at MSU. Julie is committed to lowering tuition costs for students, increasing oversight of the application of diversity of thought on campus, and to full transparency on the Board regarding recent scandals which have plagued MSU.
