We are most fortunate to host Marian Faupel as our guest speaker. Marian has served as a Saline School Board Trustee for twelve years as well as the Saline Tax Board of Review.

Active in her specialties of litigating family, real estate, and business law, she is most noted for her representation in the “Baby Jessica” case where she defeated the University of Michigan Child Advocacy Clinic at the United States Supreme Court.

She has won ADA cases at the US Court of Appeals and has also won multimillion-dollar jury verdicts in First Amendment and Securities Law cases. Marian is most passionate about education and advocacy of mothers as the heart of the family. Prior to starting law school as Wayne State School of Law, she served as a high school teacher in Michigan, New Jersey, and Kentucky. As a long serving Adjunct Professor at her alma mater, she has impacted numerous aspiring attorneys in Family Law.

Marian’s awards include “Michiganian of the Year” from the Detroit News, and the Distinguished Alumni Award from her alma mater’s Law Review. She has authored numerous articles for the Wayne State Law Review and the Washtenaw County Bar Association.

Continuing to provide quality legal services to clients from all walks of life, Marian chooses to serve the “Davids” in their cases against the “Goliaths.”
